We are supporting sustainable energy production. Our production methods and technology help to create high-quality and long-lasting cables needed for the production of renewable energy, for example. With our cables, it is possible to build smart power grids as part of an infrastructure consistent with sustainable development.

A motivated, healthy, and thriving workforce is crucial to our business. We see to the well-being of our personnel by advancing the know-how of our employees, as well as investing in workplace health, safety, and well-being. We have been granted the Key Flag Symbol in recognition of our domestic production in Finland.

Our responsible business practices are guided by Reka Cables’ strategy and values. We have also committed to the goals set by the UN for sustainable development and have set environmental goals for our own operations.

Environmental responsibility is a natural part of business at Reka Cables, and our goal is to be the world’s greenest cable manufacturer.  By producing long-lasting cables for the production of renewable energy, we do our part in advancing the energy sector towards a more ecological and sustainable future. Reducing the environmental impacts caused by our production also brings us towards a sustainable and cleaner future.

Our personnel

We have a long history in Finnish industry, and today we are about 260 professionals at Reka. We want to improve the competence of our employees while engaging and encouraging them to perform exceptionally.Our goal is a safe and efficient work environment, where the physical, mental, and social well-being of our personnel is taken into consideration.
