One of the most significant partners is Reka Cables, with whom they have been collaborating for nearly 20 years – and for good reason. Reliable service, familiar products, and smooth fieldwork make Reka an invaluable partner for Seiverkot.
Seiverkot Oy is responsible for the construction, maintenance, and upkeep of the electrical network in the central city area of Seinäjoki, Finland. Additionally, the company carries out the maintenance and construction of the street lighting network for Seinäjoen Energia in areas such as Nurmo, Ylistaro, and Peräseinäjoki.

Practicality and long-term partnerships are evident in Seiverkot’s everyday life. One of the most established partners is Reka Cables, and the companies have been collaborating for about 20 years.
“The reason we use Reka is the service. We have had the same contact person for a long time, and whenever we get in touch, we know that things will get done,” says maintenance engineer Ilari Favorin from Seiverkot.
Finnish and familiar products support smooth fieldwork. Seiverkot uses Reka Cables’s medium voltage cables and AXMK cables in the low voltage network.
“The strippability of AXMK cables has received a lot of praise from our installers. It is also a big advantage that the products have remained the same for a long time – it makes the installers’ work smoother”.
Seiverkot aims to favor Finnish solutions more broadly as well. “We use as much local labor and domestic materials as possible. That way, we know where the products come from and what we are getting”.
