Drums have to be secured with cargo belts or chains. This is to prevent movement of drums during transport.
Loading should start from the front and the first drum should lean towards the front edge. Remember to pay attention to the axle weight restrictions!
Drums should mainly be tied from the center with at least three belts.
When drums are in-line, flanges have to be straight against one another. This way flanges do not harm the cable itself. Use wooden blanks between drums for better security.
When using belts, keep in mind that arbor hole could damage it -> Use protectors like, for example, cardboard.
